What it says on the tin. This includes what he knew when he was alive (some hieroglyphics), what he gained later (a lot MORE hieroglyphics and hieratic), and what he absorbed from hanging out in Bakura Ryou's head (high school level Japanese). Of course, he hasn't regained the Japanese language itself yet, so that last one is pretty useless at the moment.
